Rise and Climb

Swallowed by darkness, I

had sensed the entrance, unsure

if it was the correct door.

Scrambling. Reaching.

I unlocked heaven with

the key of enlightenment,

a willingness to bear

the first step into the know.

Better than I am before

because the beginning of my end

will never begin,

my beginning produces

beginnings.

Admission was granted because

I was determined and

chose to keep climbing.
